Miranda Clemons
I was drawn to mental health through a combination of my love for science and personal experiences within my own family. Walking alongside loved ones through their mental health struggles gave me a deeper understanding of how complex and overwhelming these challenges can be, and it shaped my desire to be part of that support for others. I have always been fascinated by how the body works and the connection between our life experiences and the way we think, feel, and interact with the world. When I decided to advance my career, psychiatry felt like a natural fit.
I value getting to know each patient’s story and consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate difficult or uncertain seasons. I take a collaborative approach to care and believe in partnering with my patients in the decision-making process. My goal is to provide care that is compassionate, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
My nursing background includes nearly 15 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked in a variety of areas, including administration, outpatient chemotherapy and infusion, medical-surgical care, and vascular access. These experiences have shaped my holistic approach to patient care and strengthened my ability to support individuals with complex and diverse needs.· As a nurse practitioner—managing psychiatric patients across the lifespan
